• Cooking Basic Essentials – Free three-week course

    Join us over 3 weeks for a series of making common store-bought foods from scratch.

    Come learn and share how to cook everyday foods and dishes on a budget. Using organic, plant-based ingredients in a relaxed welcoming workshop.

    The course will help de-mystify recipes, reduce household packaging, make food with no hidden nasties and taste fantastic.

    This course is FREE. Donations are welcome.

    We will make all the dishes together and share at the end of the class.

    All sessions are 6-8.30pm at Unit C1 Thriveability Hub, Northover Buildings, Glastonbury, BA6 9NU.

    Session 1: Thursday 16th November

    Coleslaw with vegan mayo’ and home-made baked beans with a jacket potato.

    Session 2: Thursday 23rd November

    Toast and hot chocolate; nut, oat and seed milks plus gluten-free bread.

    Session 3: Thursday 7th December

    Snack-time; humous and dips with oatcakes and gluten-free crackers.
